RAINY DAY PHOTOS

We waited and waited for the leaves to change colors. Finally we decided to go down home to Forest Glen County Preserve that next Friday. My Dad grew up there before it became a preserve (1968) so I spent a lot of time there when I was a kid.That Friday came and it was pouring down rain. Oh well, we thought we'll go anyway, I really wanted some shots from the top of the 73 foot tower. Great thinking...no really. I feel like we had more fun because of the rain than if it had been a bright, sunny day. I know some of the pictures are a little dark but hey, it WAS raining. I hope you will enjoy the pictures I picked out. It was really hard since we snapped over 200 photos that day. Please feel free to leave a comment and let me know what you think. Next Generation

This spring and summer I got the joy of spending time in the woods with two of my three girls and my grand-daughter. It was beautiful being able to share another "first" with my grand-daughter... her first trip to the woods. She loved it as we all do and I knew she would...after all, she has my blood too. She wanted to walk by herself,when she got to she decided being carried was a whole lot easier. It is a great feeling to be able to pass on to my girls the things I love. My youngest is starting to enjoy photography as an art instead of a way to take goofy pictures of friends. They are both fun to do and there's nothing wrong with that!!!!

It has been a long time since I have been able to work on this. I have missed it a lot. The good thing is that I have been able to do some photography through out the months. I am including one winter shot that I found and really liked. I am hoping to keep up on it better since I found I needed the therapy this provides. I hope you like these.

Favorite Shots

These are some of my favorite shots taken the same day as the animal tracks. Yes, that is an outhouse out in the woods all by itself. Don't you just love the dancing trees in the second set? What dance are they doing... The Twist maybe? Could it be a Waltz? Use your imagination and decide for yourself which dance they are dancing. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
