My Introduction

I was born in Illinois but have lived and traveled all around the country. I enjoy photography so a friend offered to help set up this blog.
My parents helped to develop my love and respect for nature so this blog is dedicated to them.

My Dad showed me how to recognize the tracks of various animals and how to walk through the woods and see things most people don't and to be in awe of it all.

My Mom encouraged my love of birds and helped me to take advantage of all I could learn about them from taking me on bird watches to buying me my first field guide to birds.

In this blog I want to share with you the nature photos I have taken and will take in the future. Don't be surprised to find pictures of my family and pets too. This is a good way to combine all the things I love.
